Kezban Arca Batıbeki, who has been constantly feeding her passion for “collecting” with her increasing journeys and expanding areas of interest over the years, brings together objects with similar ones within themselves around the concepts of “Woman” and “Home/Home”. The artist likens these objects, which are seen as “collections” by the audience, to families living in the same apartment building but with different backgrounds. These “families” appear in Batıbeki’s canvases, photographs and short films as the actors of their own stories. In this way, she invites her audience to open the doors to the artist’s personal world and experience a new form of expression.
