BIO ART – Vegan Leather Production from Olive Waste
Aim
The workshop aims to inform participants about bio art and to convey environmentally friendly methods in the context of nature, science and art. This workshop aims to inform about the environmentally friendly, sustainable vegan leather production process from olive waste.

Workshop Program
1. Introduction and Presentation (30 minutes)
• What is Bio Art? Brief History
• Vegan leather production from olive waste, Oleatex's R&D process
2. Visual Material Preparation (30 minutes)
• Production of materials such as color, fabric etc. for leather production
3. Design and Implementation Process (30 minutes)
• Drawings will be made for collage designs in order to transform leather production into an artistic output.
• Collage application will be made
4. Pop-Up Mini Exhibition
• Participants' works will be exhibited
• Each participant will present the theme of their collage to other participants.
Workshop Content
• Aim: Participants will gain knowledge and practical experience in upcycling and innovative biomaterials.
• Tools: Raw materials and materials created from olive waste, scissors, glue.
• Reasons: To see the contribution of biomaterials to ecology and to discover the new dimensions they add to art.
