Augmented reality workshop at MeshRu

Workshop Content:
Aim:
To introduce participants to AR technology and enable them to develop their own creative projects inspired by the exhibition's themes.
Reasons:
To explore the new dimensions that AR technology brings to art and storytelling, and to take an in-depth journey into the exhibition themes.
Mentors:
Two computers will be available to participants under the guidance of Hakan Sorar and Ahmet Rüstem Ekici. Participants will be provided with one-on-one short AR experience design support.
Additional Information:
• Participants will receive a free Fujifilm Instax film print.
• Participants are kindly requested to send the images they want to edit in AR to info@aredeko.com in advance.
• Participants who wish can join the workshop with their own computers.

Workshop Program:
1. Introduction and Presentation (15-20 minutes)
• What is AR?: Definition and basic concepts of augmented reality.
• History: AR's development process, first applications and milestones.
• Why Should We Use AR?: How AR innovates art, storytelling, and exhibition experiences.
• How Can We Use It?: Application methods of AR technology and tools to be used in this workshop.
2. Visual Production and Preparation (30 minutes)
• Participants will be asked to select or produce their own images.
• They will be encouraged to prepare works such as drawings, paintings or photographs inspired by the themes of the exhibition.
3. Printing and AR Editing (60 minutes)
• Participants' images will be printed using Fujifilm Instax printers.
• AR experiences will be created on the printed images with the Artivive application.
• Participants will complete their projects through collaboration.
4. Pop-Up Mini Exhibition (30 minutes)
• Participants' works will be exhibited.
• Each participant will present their AR project to other participants and share their experiences.
